The Big Rapids Flying Club would like to invite you to attend the 5th Annual Car, Truck & Bike Show during the Freedom AirFest 2009. This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 at the Big Rapids, Roben-Hood Airport.
This year, the Classic Car Show is being sponsored by Phillips Ford Lincoln-Mercury, home of the Free Oil Change for Life! in Big Rapids. A door prize drawing has been established that will consist of cash and other various merchandise items. Each car registered will receive one entry in the drawing. Also, Trophies will be given out for the Top 10 Favorites and for Best of Show.

By clicking submit on the Car Show Registration Page and applying to exhibit my vehicle during the Freedom AirFest 2008 Classic Car Show, I acknowledge that I’ve read, understood and agree to all of the provisions outlined below:
1. The Big Rapids Flying Club (hosts of the Freedom AirFest 2009) reserves the right to reject any application, and to demand the release of any car show space at any time before or during the festival for failure to meet any of the requirements contained herein or for violating any applicable laws and regulations of the United States, State of Michigan, City and/or Township of Big Rapids.
2. The accompanying Car Show Registration Form must be submitted with your check for $18.00, made payable to Big Rapids Flying Club and received on or before July 4, 2009.
3. Space is limited. Potential exhibitors are strongly encouraged to submit their registration form and payment well in advance of the 07/04/08 deadline. Acceptance is on a first-come-first-served basis and is subject to approval by the Big Rapids Flying Club.
4. Registration fees will be refunded only (1) in the event an exhibitor’s application is rejected or (2) in the event an exhibitor notifies Big Rapids Flying Club in writing on or before June 1, 2009 that the exhibitor will not be participating in the Freedom AirFest Car Show. Under any other circumstances, fees may be refunded in the sole discretion of Big Rapids Flying Club.
5. The car show hours of operation for Freedom AirFest 2009 are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, July 4, 2008. Car show space will be available for setup between 7:00 and 9:00 am that morning. All vehicles must be in place by 9:00 am. Tear down will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. when the AirFest concludes and must be completed not later than 5:00 p.m. on the evening of July 4, 2009.
6. All vehicles must be properly registered and insured.
7. Vehicles must remain in place for the duration of the event. Except in cases of extreme emergency and with the prior approval of the Car Show Coordinator, there will be no in and out privileges.
8. Participants may NOT switch space with another exhibitor nor move to an alternate exhibitor location without the express prior approval of the designated Car Show Coordinator or other designated Freedom AirFest official.
9. Exhibitors agree to release the Big Rapids Flying Club, Colt Aviation, The City of Big Rapids, Big Rapids Township, and any and all of their respective directors, agents or employees as well as any members, employees or sponsors of the Freedom AifFest 2009 and Classic Car Show from any and all damages, injuries, accidents and losses arising out of the exhibitor’s participation in said event. This provision specifically extends any property damage sustained due to fire, theft, public catastrophe or Act of God. All participating exhibitors are responsible for their own insurance.
10. The sale or possession of alcoholic beverages is expressly prohibited.
11. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning and maintaining their assigned car space for the duration of the event and for cleaning and clearing the area occupied by their vehicle at the conclusion of the event.
12. By participating in the event, the Exhibitor agrees that any photographs, film footage or audio recordings taken of or provided by the Exhibitor in connection with the Freedom AirFest 2009 or the Classic Car Show becomes the sole property of the Big Rapids Flying Club and may be used without compensation and without the Exhibitor’s prior knowledge or approval for print, television or radio publicity and promotion.
